My story is filled with broken pieces, bad decisions, and some ugly truths. However, it is also filled
with a major comeback, peace in my soul and grace that saved me Today, I speak with humility,
knowing I am not perfect or better than anyone else. My purpose for sharing my story is to
motivate you to make the right choices, and to ask our Heavenly Father for direction. I was
addicted to tik, prostitution, cigarettes, and gambling, as well as a rape victim who suffered emotional abuse.
A native to South Africa, I grew up in a very caring household with my
grandparents and mother, and I received a good education both at home and in school. My
spiritual foundation and manners were emphasized strongly, and I was a happy and blessed
child. Aside from sporadic visits to Cape Town my father was not present in my life which made
it difficult growing up with a father figure. In 2003 my matric year, final year of high school, I
became pregnant with my firstborn. I was extremely shy and worried about what my friends
would say or think about me becoming a mother at such a young age. The one thing led to
